About

I am a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Washington School of Medicine. I earned my PhD in Biological Sciences at Northern Arizona University in 2021. I am interested in the physiology of adaptation – how our bodies respond to exercise to become bigger, stronger, and more fatigue resistant and how age affects these adaptations. I am currently studying how mitochondrially targeted drugs affect exercise training adaptations in aged muscle.

Mission

It is my mission to inspire others to exercise. I love all things exercise and training science and I want to share the knowledge and expertise I have developed with others to help people move more and be healthy through my training programs and educational resources.
